Showit Templates for Photographers That Are Actually Easy to Use

Easy-To-Use Showit Templates for Photographers

I’ve worked with a lot of photographers over the last 5 years. Like… a lot. And if there’s one thing I hear over and over again, it’s this: “I bought a Showit template… and I still haven’t launched my website.” There are too many Showit templates out there that are not easy to use, customize, or launch your website with. So when we started designing our own Showit templates for photographers, we didn’t just focus on how they looked (even though… yes, they’re stunning).

We focused on:

  • What actually helps someone finish their website
  • What makes customization feel doable, not overwhelming
  • And what removes friction of working inside of Showit instead of adding to it

Because a template only works if you can actually launch your site with it.

Nectar Design Co. Showit Templates For Photographers

If you’re browsing our Showit website templates for photographers, here’s a quick look at what we’ve built so far:

  • Coastal Love – light, airy, and editorial with a coastal feel
  • Pandora – bold, modern, and slightly moody
  • Sloane Mae – clean, elevated, and conversion-focused
  • Lada – romantic, artistic, and a little cinematic

Each one is built specifically for photographers who want something that looks custom… without needing a custom build. You can browse the full Showit template shop here.

Should You Choose a Template With Copy Included?

This is often something that many folks don’t think about until they are deep in design with their new template.

The website copy.

While design is its own beast, most don’t get stuck on how to customize their template, but instead get stuck on what to say. That’s why Sloane Mae and Lada include copy templates created by Kinfolk Creative.

The guidance that Kinfolk Creative included in these templates is truly insane. Here’s a sneak peak of what a copy template looks like for our Sloane Mae and Lada templates.

The structured guidance helps you:

  • turn your thoughts into clear messaging
  • connect with your ideal client in words they actual are using
  • and write a site that converts, not just sits there looking pretty

If you’ve ever said, “I have so much to say, I just don’t know how to say it”,  this is the difference between launching… and not.

What to Look for in Showit Templates (If You Want It to Be Easy)

Not all Showit templates for photographers are created equally. Some are genuinely plug-and-play. Others… look that way until you open them.

Here’s what actually matters:

1. Tutorial Videos (Non-Negotiable)

If there’s no walkthrough, you’re probably going to get confused real quick—especially if you’ve never used Showit before. Good templates should show you:

  • how to swap images
  • how to update text
  • how to adjust layouts

Because Googling your way through your own website build is not the vibe.

2. Little to No Coding Required

You should not need to touch code. Period.

If a template requires custom CSS just to function properly, it’s not beginner-friendly, it’s mislabeled.

None of our templates will ever include code unless we have stated very clearly that they do! Again, we want you to actually launch your new template into a beautiful website that takes your business to a new level!

3. SEO That’s Actually Thought Through

“Basic SEO included” is one of the most misleading phrases in this industry.

What you actually want:

  • intentional page structure
  • clear heading hierarchy
  • sections designed for real keywords (not filler text)

4. Customization Support Options

Even the best DIY-er gets stuck at some point.

Look for templates that offer:

  • customization add-ons
  • strategy calls
  • or some form of support after you purchase

5. Real Reviews From Real Users

Not just “this is pretty!!!”

You want to look for:

  • ease of use
  • how quickly people launched
  • how confident they felt editing it

That’s what actually tells you if a template works and will work for YOU!

A Showit Template Should Make Your Life Easier

I’m not usually a “shoulds” girl, but I do believe that at the end of the day, a good Showit template for photographers should feel like relief.

You don’t need another half-finished project added to your never ending admin list.

Your template should help you:

  • get your site live faster
  • feel confident in what you’re putting out
  • and finally have a website that works with you, not against you

And if you’re sitting there thinking, “Okay but I still don’t know if I should go template or custom…”, I have a resource right here!
