When I named this studio, I knew it had to mean something.
My grandpa loved hummingbirds. After he passed, I kept noticing them everywhere. And hummingbirds thrive on nectar—it’s what keeps them alive, vibrant, and always moving.
That image stuck with me. I realized design could work the same way for businesses.

Hi, I'm Lauryn — Founder of Nectar Design Co. I’m a big fan of honesty, not wasting time, and making sure your brand stands out for its story—not a template.
When I’m not deep in a design build, you’ll probably find me watching baseball, playing with my kitties or sending clients voice memos that say the thing everyone else is skirting around.
Four years ago, I never imagined this would be my career. I started as a VA, moved into blogging and Pinterest management, and eventually fell into design. The first time I built a website, something clicked—I felt creative in a way I never had before.
Since then, I’ve built 40+ custom brands and websites for photographers and creative entrepreneurs who wanted something real. Something that doesn’t blend into the scroll. Something that screams “this is really, truly, me.”
I believe in clear communication, honest feedback, and making sure you never feel left out of the process. That’s the standard at Nectar: thoughtful design, built with care, that fuels growth.
